Each year, the General Assembly convenes in Richmond to discuss the important issues facing the Commonwealth of Virginia. Each year, thousands of bills are considered that modify, update, remove and implement laws that affect all of us.

  • HB44 - Worker’s Compensation Interest To Be Charged
  • HB45 - Legal Continuance
  • HB46 - Eliminating Regulations on Pickles
  • HB75 – Home Electronic Incarceration – Time Served Clarification
  • HB76 – Teacher Renewal Date Change
  • HB77 – Jury Sentencing Clarification
  • HB78 – Instructional Spending Reports
  • HB137 – Workers’ compensation; injuries presumed to be in course of employment.
  • HB223 – Writ of actual innocence; juvenile adjudicated delinquent of felony charge 
  • HB224 – Standards of Learning; Board of Education to adopt regulations allowing students to retake.
  • HB225 – Standards of Learning; establishes alternative accreditation and student growth measures.
