Greg Habeeb was first elected in January of 2011 in a Special Election to represent Virginia’s 8th House of Delegates District. The 8th District includes the City of Salem, parts of Roanoke and Montgomery Counties and all of Craig County.
Greg is a husband, father and active community member. His wife, Christy, is a former school teacher. He has three young children – Daniel, William and Anna. Greg is a business and litigation attorney at Gentry Locke Rakes & Moore – a law firm located in downtown Roanoke.
Since his election to the House of Delegates, Greg has fought for conservative and common-sense solutions to Virginia’s challenges. He has worked to create new opportunities, reform government and create a better education system for our children.

Greg is an active-member of the Roanoke Valley community. He teaches “Wee Worship,” the four-year-old Sunday School class, at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Roanoke County. He is on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters Southwest Virginia. He also does pro-bono legal work for the Military Family Support Center and Blue Ridge Legal Services. He is actively involved with the Young Life in our area.
